🚴♂️ D.O.R.Ks Bike Ride: From School to Point Walter
Dust off the helmets and pump up the tyres! It’s time for the D.O.R.Ks (Dads of Richmond Kids) bike ride. We’re heading from the school down to the river for an evening of cycling, fresh air, and food trucks.
Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or your kids are still rocking streamers on their handlebars, this is a relaxed, family-friendly ride for everyone.
Date: Sunday, 22nd March
Start Time: Meet at the school to leave promptly at 3:45 PM.
The Route: A scenic 20–30 minute cycle from school to Point Walter. (School, Fraser Street, Birdwood Circus, Bicton Baths and then flat-ish along Blackwall Reach path to Point Walter)
The Destination: An evening by the river with the Dinner @ Dusk food trucks!
No worries! If you can’t make the ride, families can still join the DORKs down at Point Walter. Meet us directly at the river (food trucks are outside the cafe at Point Walter) from 4:30 PM onwards.
3:45 PM: Group departs from school.
4:30 PM: Arrive at Point Walter / Food Trucks open.
4:30 PM – Late: Dinner, drinks, and hanging out by the water.
Families to make their own way home when they are ready.
What to bring: Bikes, helmets, swimmers, water bottles, and money for the Food Trucks! Dad's are asked to bring everything they need for their family.
