The Dads & Kids camp is on again. C'mon guys knock off early, pack the car or wheelbarrow, grab the kids and head on down for some fun activities and a camp out on the school oval. The idea of the camp out is to grow a stronger connections between you and your kids and to help us fella's support each other in the hard job of being an effective father or father figure. $30 per family for cool time, camping, fun activities, cooked breakfast and real coffee. Richmond Primary School P&C Waterslide Day Friday the 8th of December 2017 from 3:15PM - 6:00PM $10 Ticket fee per pupil which includes waterslide use and a hotdog. Wristbands for access to the waterslides will be distributed at school on Friday the 8th of December and worn on the day. Those pupils in Years 4-6 may collect theirs from the sausage sizzle area after school. Icypoles and snacks onsale. 'Boardies' may be worn to school on the day. Please note that this event is for enrolled Richmond Primary School pupils only (Kindy to Year 6). Parental Supervision Required.  

The 2017 “Richmond Cup” will be held at Richmond Primary School on Sunday 15th October from 12:00. This fun event is open for all Richmond Kindergarten and Primary School children and their Fathers/Father figures with the aim to build stronger bonds….and a Billycart. Organised by the P&C and the Dads of Richmond Kids (DORKS), the Richmond Cup is an afternoon of billycart activity with a range of challenges and awards for best paint job, best team theme, most creative Billycart and more. So get a team together, get creative and lets see you at the Richmond Cup. On your marks, get set, go…..    

The Dorks Dads and Kids bike ride event was a great success. The rainy weather held off and over 70 adults and kids enjoyed the riverside ride together and some very enthusiastic games. Many families stayed on to socialise into the night. Thank you to all who joined in and made the event such great fun. Thanks also to Swan Yacht Club for supporting our community. Friday 26th May saw a bunch of Richmond Dads head to Fremantle bowling club for the DORKs annual Crackerjack Cup. A big thanks to all for making the night a success and congratulations to Kilan Ekin for edging out all other competitors and being crowned the winner for 2017.   Craig Petzke
