It’s time to shake off those Winter blues and send some pins flying at the DoRK’s Bowling Night!  The event will be held at Super Bowl Melville from 7pm to around 10pm, on Monday 5th August 2019 and is open to Dads and Father-figures of current Richmond students.   Dads will get together in teams of 5-6 per lane and play two games each, with bragging rights going to the winning team overall and highest-scoring individual player.  Food and drinks are available separately throughout the night from the bar.   We will have a break between games for a chat about The Fathering Project and exchange ideas, stories and experiences of the roles we play as fathers to our Richmond kids. The Dads of Richmond Kids group is running the Dads and Kids Bike Ride again this year, at 3pm on Sunday 19th May 2019.    It's a great opportunity for Dads to get out and about with their kids and then get together with the rest of the family at the Swan Yacht Club afterwards. We will meet near Zephyr Café at 3pm, ride around the river to Point Walter for some games and then return to Swan Yacht Club for 5pm.   This is s free event and no tickets are required... but please RSVP to Matt Sumner by email (pheonix3@iinet.net.au) or mobile (0439 970 262) so that we have an idea of numbers attending.   Looking forward to seeing you there! :-)

On Friday 10 May the DoRKs organisers are hosting a micro-event especially for Mums, as a pre-Mother’s Day treat - the Quad Café pop-up coffee stand.  We’ll be set up in the school quad, providing free coffee for all our wonderful, hard-working Mums.  Mums are invited to stop and chat over a flat white or grab-and-go if they’re on the run!  We’ll be open from 730am til the siren goes... so hopefully plenty of Mums should be able to enjoy a free coffee!  See you there!

School Fun Run

The Dads & Kids camp is on again. C'mon guys pack the car or wheelbarrow, grab the kids and head on down to the school oval for some fun activities and a camp out. The idea of the camp out is to grow a stronger connection between you and your kids and to help us fellas support each other in the hard job of being an effective father or father figure. $30 per family for cool time, camping, fun activities, cooked breakfast and real coffee. Richmond Primary School P&C Waterslide Day Friday the 7th of December 2018 from 3:15PM - 6:00PM $10 Ticket fee per pupil which includes waterslide use and a hotdog (free hotdog for parent/carer).  Tickets are to be purchased online and presented at the School Office from Monday the 3rd of December in exchange for a wristband which must be worn on the day.  Icypoles and snacks onsale. 'Boardies' may be worn to school on the day for a gold coin donation. Please note that this event is for enrolled Richmond Primary School pupils only (Kindy to Year 6). Parental Supervision Required.  

Richmond Primary School P&C Art Show and Movie Night Friday the 16th of November 2018 Movie - Hotel Transylvania 3 Tickets are $12 per family which are to be purchased online and presented on the night Art Show from 3:00pm in the Undercover and Art Room Movie Night commences at 7.00pm Pizza's for sale from 6pm or bring a picnic!  

The 2018 “Richmond Cup” will be held at Richmond Primary School on Sunday 04th November from 12:00. This fun event is open for all Richmond Kindergarten and Primary School children and their Fathers/Father figures with the aim to build stronger bonds….and a Billycart. Organised by the P&C and the Dads of Richmond Kids (DORKS), the Richmond Cup is an afternoon of billycart activity with a range of challenges and awards for best paint job, best team theme, most creative Billycart and more. So get a team together, get creative and lets see you at the Richmond Cup. On your marks, get set, go…..
